Liverpool University Press is delighted to announce that the Essays in Romanticism journal editor and the President of the International Conference for Romanticism (ICR) have agreed that Essays in Romanticism will transition to publishing two online issues per year, with one printed volume at the end of the year (combining the two issues) starting in 2024. This is part of a wider move from LUP in partnership with our associate affiliations to ensure our commitment to the Sustainability Pledge set out in the United Nations’ SDG Compact. The move from Essays in Romanticism to publishing a single printed volume containing each issue from the year demonstrates a material alignment to our values for equity and sustainability by reducing our carbon footprint.
