New Journals Agreement with Jisc

A new agreement for access to the Liverpool University Press Journals Collection is now available.

Jisc Collections last had a journals agreement with LUP in 2011, at which time 13 journals were offered. LUP’s journals portfolio has since expanded to 27 scholarly journals across the humanities and social sciences, of which 24 are included in this agreement.

Access is offered to the entire collection with pricing discounted on a Jisc-banded basis. Discounts on total list prices range from 25% to 40%. Access includes a full archive of each journal, dating back to volume 1 or to the earliest digitised issue.

The agreement is for a three-year commitment with a 2.5% increase in years two and three, or as an annual renewal at a price increase of 3%. An unrestricted economic opt-out clause is available in years two and three.

The licence is available for electronic acceptance. Orders should be placed on the Jisc Collections website and may be routed directly to LUP or via a subscription agent.
