Call for New Editors of British Journal of Canadian Studies

The British Journal of Canadian Studies (BJCS) is a highly respected academic journal, currently published by Liverpool University Press. It is the flagship journal of the British Association for Canadian Studies (BACS), and has been in existence for over thirty years and is published twice-yearly: Spring and Autumn.

Articles are accepted in both of Canada’s official languages: English and French. The current Editor is Dr. Susan Billingham (University of Nottingham).

Book reviews are regarded as a significant feature of BJCS. The Reviews Editor is Ms. Vivien Hughes, who has done a wonderful job over many years.

BACS is asking for expressions of interest for two new editors, and four associate editors to take over the management of the journal for an initial two year term (Ms. Hughes will continue as Reviews Editor). BACS is extremely grateful to Dr. Billingham for editing the journal singlehandedly for the last four years. However, it feels a team is needed to handle the workload and meet the publication deadlines from the publisher.
