Liverpool University Press is delighted to announce that from 2016, it will be publishing the journal Quaker Studies on behalf of the Quaker Studies Research Association (QSRA).
Published twice yearly, Quaker Studies is the only refereed journal covering all aspects of Quaker studies. Quaker Studies is multi-disciplinary and articles submitted typically cover the subject areas of aesthetics, anthropology, architecture, art, cultural studies, history, literature, peace studies, philosophy, research methodology, sociology, theology, and women’s studies. The Quaker Studies Research Association (QSRA), formed in 1992 and with an international membership, is the umbrella organisation for all those studying, teaching, researching or connected with research into one of the areas of Quaker Studies.
Clare Hooper, Head of Journals at LUP, said, “we are very pleased to be working with the QRSA to publish the journal, and look forward to engaging further with scholars and researchers in this field”
