Important Notice: distribution of Contemporary French Civilization and CFC Intersections

The journal, Contemporary French Civilization (CFC) and its companion journal, CFC Intersections, will be moving to a new distribution model in 2024.

Quarterly issues of CFC will be published in an electronic version on the regular schedule (March, June, September, December) with access to individual articles on the Liverpool University Press website via the Contemporary French Civilization webpage.

A printed volume containing all four issues for the year will then be distributed in December. The combined volume will be mailed in suitable packaging to subscribers who opt to receive a printed copy as part of their subscription.

Similarly, CFC Intersections will have one online issue available via the CFC Intersections webpage each September, followed by a printed volume for those subscribers who opted to receive a printed copy, also available in September.

Reducing environmental impact with convenient timely access

As part of Liverpool University Press’s commitment to the UN Sustainability Goals, the new distribution model will enable us to lessen environmental impact by reducing print runs and paper usage, while still enabling subscribers around the world to have convenient and timely access to each issue.
