Northcote House Publishers and Liverpool University Press (LUP) have agreed a strategic partnership for the publication of the long-running series Writers and their Work.

With immediate effect, LUP will assume responsibility for more than 400 backlist titles and a frontlist of around 10 new books a year. The partnership will also see the titles digitised and systematically available as ebooks, many for the first time.

Titles in the series will be distributed through LUP’s usual channels, with Turpin Distribution handling the UK.

Moreover, the series includes among its authors some of the leading literary critics of the past quarter of a century.’
