University of Michigan Press Director, Charles Watkinson, shared: ‘Alongside partner presses distributed by Michigan Publishing Services, University of Michigan Press is currently publishing some of the sharpest scholarship in the world. At a time when the USA feels increasingly isolated, we’re grateful to our friends across the ocean for making sure our authors can participate in global conversations.’
Liverpool University Press Chief Executive, Anthony Cond added: ‘University of Michigan Press is known in publishing circles for helping to define what the contemporary university press should be, but to readers and authors it has simply been known as a home for outstanding scholarship for almost a century. We look forward to working with our colleagues at UMP to amplify their catalogue and to help their authors find new audiences.’
