The Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA) has selected Liverpool Subscription Services, part of Liverpool University Press (LUP), to manage its journal subscriptions.
The Association joins a host of university presses and mission-based publishers working with LUP.
Kirsten Poole, Director of Subscription Services commented:
“We’re absolutely delighted that the MHRA have selected Liverpool Subscription Services at Liverpool University Press to manage their journal subscriptions. Their commitment to promoting study and research in the field of Humanities, and their support of early-career researchers corresponds perfectly with the values of LUP, making this a wonderful partnership of like-minded organisations.”
Dr Simon Davies, Publishing Manager at the MHRA said:
“The MHRA is delighted to be entering into partnership with Liverpool University Press. We both have a long history of giving vital support to academics and their research in Modern Languages and the Humanities; LUP will be an excellent home for the journals we publish. We are confident that the partnership will help to expand the reach of our journals, providing a solid foundation for our work in publishing the best scholarship in these fields.”
Anthony Cond, Chief Executive of Liverpool University Press added:
“The MHRA is an essential part of the Humanities landscape, not least through its publication of the flagship Modern Language Review. As a mission-based organisation, LUP’s focus is on disseminating scholarship. We do that through our own publishing but also by providing vital infrastructure for other publishers with comparable aims.”
Liverpool Subscription Services will contact subscription agents with further details in due course.
